• Timothy

  I’m so proud to be the owner of this amazing Goddard School in Hudson. I’ve always needed to do meaningful work throughout my life. The Goddard School has the highest of standards both in Health and Safety, as well as Education for the most meaningful people in our world, our children. As a father myself, I understand and appreciate the importance of the early childhood educational experience. These are just a few reasons why I choose to become part of the Goddard family. I am committed to provide the highest quality education and care for your child here at The Hudson Goddard School.

  Hello! My name is Jen Owens and I am super excited to be the director here at The Goddard School in Hudson. I graduated from the University of Akron with my BA in Child Development and have over 25 years of experience working with young children. Facilitating children to reach their maximum potential in growth and development has always been my deepest passion in life. I feel extremely honored to be part of a school that holds such high standards in early childhood education and values what is needed to provide your child with the best care available.

• Ashley

  Hello! My name is Ashley Canterbury. I am 27 years old, and teaching children is my passion! I graduated from Walsh University in 2019 with my Bachelor of Science in Education. I am originally from Marietta, Ohio, where I taught preschool for 3 years. This most previous school year I took off to be with my son, who was born in July of 2022. I now reside in Stow with my fiancé, Blake and our son, Dax. I am excited to be back in the classroom doing what I love! Along with my love of teaching, my other interests include spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and baking.

  Ms. Bri has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Bri has also completed the Excel TECC TEACH program. She started at Goddard in 2017. • Emily

  My name is Emily Hartz. I received my associate degree in child development from Rasmussen College. I have been working with children for most of my adult life. My favorite thing about working with children is watching them learn and grow. It is especially exciting when they hit those milestones. I have a teenage daughter and a teenage son. In my spare time I love spending time with my kids camping and exploring the metro parks.

• Erica

  Ms. Erica has her Child Development Associate Certificate and helps with school opening responsibilities. She started at Goddard in 2011 and worked at another Goddard School previously. Ms. Erica has over 10 years of experience working with Infants and Toddlers - Favorite Activity: Bubbles and watching the babies explore with paint - Favorite Thing About the Infant Room: Getting to see the new things that they learn and seeing their excitement when they master something new!

• Jordan

  Ms. Jordan went to school for Hospitality, however she found a love for education and started at Goddard in 2022. She started as an Assistant and moved into the Lead Teacher position in the Preschool Room. She is currently working on her degree in Early Childhood Education. -Favorite Book: When You Give a Mouse a Cookie -Favorite Activity: Arts and Crafts -Favorite Thing About Being a Teacher: Seeing the children's smiling faces every morning and watching their little personalities come to life!

• Lauren

  Ms. Lauren has been with Goddard since July 2022. She has been working with children for 8 years, ranging from infants to 5th graders. She graduated from Kent State University in 2019 with her bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Lauren loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, and doing arts and crafts!

  Ms. Mercedes started at The Goddard School in March 2023.   Ms. Michaela started at Goddard in 2022 and is studying Early Childhood Education. • Taylor

  I started at The Goddard School in July of 2023. I have my Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University where I majored in Child and Youth Studies with a specialization in Language and Literacy Development and minored in Disability Studies. I worked for two years at Grace Family Daycare and Preschool, worked as a Sensory Motor Coach at Brain Balance for a year and a half, interned at Head Start for a year, and then was the Behavior Specialist at Head Start in 2021 before moving to Northeastern Ohio last year. A fun fact about me is that I got married in June 2022 and then had my wonderful son, Luke, in May 2023.

  Ms. Taylor has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She started at Goddard in 2021. Ms. Taylor has over 5 years of experience working with Preschoolers and Prekindergartners. -Favorite Activity: Dancing! -Favorite Part of Being a Teacher: Seeing the children make a connection with learning and seeing their faces light up!

  Hello, I’m Miss Amanda! I graduated from Maplewood career center and Streetsboro high school. I specialized in early childhood education. I love working with the first steps and love watching them learn and grow. I plan on going to back to college to further my education!

• Danielle

  My name is Danielle, I prefer to go by Ellie though. I have been married for 3 years and we have a 2.5 year old. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field since I was a junior in High school when I attended the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. Ever since I graduated in 2017, I have been working with young children ages, 6weeks-12 years old, in different centers. I am currently enrolled online at Eastern Gateway Community College for Teacher Education and I have about 9 classes until I receive my Associates degree. Once I do that, I will go on to receive my Bachelor's degree. In my downtime I enjoy spending time with my family and singing.

  Hello! My name is Darcie! I am a mom of two boys! I was a stay at home mom for 4 years. In my spare time, I love to cook & bake. I have a small business for baked goods for friends & family! I love getting coffee & shopping, going on walks, taking the boys to the zoo or indoor play places,& once a month, going to the local library. I started The Goddard Schools Feb 2024. I have a 1.5 year certification in cosmetology, 1.5 year experience in Healthcare & plan to go back to school! My favorite thing to do with children are gym/ outdoor play, Bubbles, arts & crafts & reading!

  Ms. Hillary has an Associates Degree in HR Management. She has been with Goddard since 2023. She is an Assistant Teacher in our Junior Preschool rooms. -Favorite activity: coloring with the kids -Favorite thing about being a teacher: seeing how happy kids are to learn new things!

• Kathy

  HI! My name is Miss Kathy and I have been with Goddard since December 2022. I have a Bachelor's degree in English/ Women's studies and a Master's degree in education. I have been working with infants to high school age in many different capacities for more than 30 years. I have been married to a teacher for 32 years. We have a daughter Kyla, who has already traveled the world at 29 and fluently speaks French, Spanish, and Wolof. Our son Ethan is entering his senior year in the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago studying Sound Design. It gives me great joy to be a special part of a child's daily life. Each day is filled with promise and wonder and renews my spirit.

  Ms. Liv is currently in school for Communications and started at Goddard in 2021.   Hello! My name is Austin but everyone at school calls me by my last name Isaac. I am currently a senior at Kent state University pursuing my degree in early childhood education. I did a semester of student teaching at Goddard school and began working here as a resource teacher directly after. In my free time I love spending time with my wife Kaelynn. We like to watch Cleveland sports, go out to eat, and have game nights with our friends.

  Hi! My name is Miss Brooke and I started at Goddard in August 2023. I have been working with children for 2.5 years. I completed the Maplewood Career Center Early Childhood Education program and received my certificate. I have training on creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans for ages 2-5. I love my job here at Goddard, and I am excited to come to work every day and see the children’s smiling faces. As a teacher, I take pride and joy in my job and do my best to provide the best care for each child. I love interacting with the children and making them laugh. My favorite thing to do with the children is sing songs, they love them!

  Ms. Courtney has her Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Psychology. She has been with Goddard since 2023. • Kim

  Kim has a business degree from The University of Akron and has spent her career in sales. She is a loving mother of 4 and has 1 granddaughter. Her hobbies include books, orchestra music, hiking, zoos, and modern art. What she loves most about working with kids is seeing them learn new things, build things, and show kindness to their friends.

  Hello! My name is Payton and I am a Resource Teacher here at The Goddard School in Hudson. I am currently studying to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Kent State University. Working with children is something that I have always adored doing. Education is such a rewarding field of work with the multitude of personalities you get to work with everyday, the connections you get to make, the impact you could possibly have on a child’s life, and more.
