When I’m not at work I’m spending time with family especially my precious grand babies, they are important to me. My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and reconnecting with old friends.

  I’ve spent 20+ years in insurance, all of it representing Allstate-after spending 13 years in the financial services industry. It has been my pleasure to help families protect the very things that matter, so much so that I have customers that are now personal friends! I believe it is our obligation to help customers know the basics about their policies so that they can make the best, informed decision for their individual situation – nothing is cookie cutter when I work with a customer. In my time away from the Agency, I enjoys spending time with my husband and our shelter rescue dog, working in our garden (and canning all those goodies to enjoy later), reading, knitting and I am a competition ballroom dancer.

  I began my career in insurance in 2014 after spending nine years in retail. I’ve been associated with Allstate since 2015, and this agency since 2016, in multiple roles ranging from licensed sales professional, to life insurance sales, to service team manager. I’m licensed in both life insurance and property & casualty insurance, and in 2022 I earned my Chartered Life Underwriter designation.

  I've dedicated more than 30 years to working for Allstate. During those 30 + years, I worked primarily in the claims department handling property, casualty and business insurance claims. In fact, I enjoyed working in claims so much, I came out of retirement to work for the agency part-time in the role of Claim Specialist! When I’m not working for McKenica and Associates, I love spending time with my wife serving as her assistant as we watch our two young grandchildren each day. I also enjoy golfing, exercising, keeping fit and participating in service projects through our church.

It is my goal to help customers understand the coverages in their policies and give them peace of mind that what matters to them is properly protected. Outside of work you will find me in the kitchen cooking different kinds of cuisine. My family loves hiking, camping, and travelling.

  I’m an old soul who appreciates humble values, I’ve been working since I was 15. I love cooking and baking for my future wife and I. We spend most of our time at the gym or mapping out our lives with little adventures. We hope to travel abroad often, and I am eager to learn multiple languages. We have one dog and one cat however I expect that number to grow until I am outnumbered, and I may have to sleep in the doghouse.
